This little painting was based on some reference material that I recently took while on a trip to New Zealand. I was fascinated by the sheer volume of sheep there and the agriculture in general. I was drawn to the shadows that the sheep were casting and then colors I was seeing there. Warm and cool play and interesting shape--perfect for an artist's eye.
