The theme in this painting is about hope, healing and rebirth, inspired partly by this coming up Easter and personal experiences. I've expressed this theme throughout the entire painting. I used tulips being a spring flower to symbolize hope, the eggs represent rebirth and the Eucalyptus leaves ( a known healing plant) are the bridge between the two. In my personal style I've placed these elements on the edge of darkness as so often times you find hope, healing and rebirth.
