Salmonetes / Red Mullet, are a very popular fish here in the Mediterranean and a firm family favourite. I love their unique colours and knew that one day I was going to paint some and here they are !

They have just been bought (un kilito bien despachado) and are on the mosaic kitchen table ready to be cooked.
Grilled or Fried 🤔;
either way their taste is unique👌

Did you know that Red Mullet change their colour in situations of stress and at different times of the day?
