My Storybook Cottage Series is inspired by illustrations from vintage storybooks and greeting cards from the early part of the last century. Home was a haven from the cares of the outside world and family life was centered around the kitchen table, pantries were full of home baked goods and crayons and paper were always available for children and adults. The painting is on 140 lb cold press archival watercolor paper.
