Media: Scratchboard
Size: 11x14 in
This piece took over 140 hours to create and every minute was pure joy. I usually tend to work on one element (lace, flowers, silver...) at a time but due to the size of this artwork, I would move from one section to another as depending on where I wanted to go. This is one of the largest scratchboards I've ever created. Since I enjoyed working on it so much, I can see that I will start another one soon.Oh, and one story about this work...While I was varnishing it outside I received one of the biggest compliments of my life. A cute, little bee tried to land on the daisies even though I insisted they weren't real! It will be one of my favorite memories for a very long time. This piece is currently on hold for an upcoming exhibition. Please message me if you are interested in adding it to your collection.
