Allison Doke

Allison Doke began drawing at a young age. Her passion for art continued through high school. She began college as an art major at Westfield State University in Massachusetts. Encouraged to switch a more practical career path, she chose to complete her BA in journalism. Her desire to travel led her to a career as a flight attendant. In 1992 she left the industry to become an associate producer at CNN in Atlanta where she worked for several years before returning to the skies as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines. She retired in August of 2020. Throughout all of those years her love of art never waned. She opened a studio in 2017 in Marietta, Ga where she now paints full time. She paints primarily in oil but often ventures into other mediums such as graphite, charcoal, ink wash, and cold wax, sometimes combining them to create her work. She paints in a variety of genres including plein air, figurative, still life and abstracts. She is represented by Robert Kent Galleries in Marietta, Georgia.
