It all started in 2020 during lockdown.  I found a virtual paint night and decided to try it out.   Water colour paper and some craft paint was all I had on hand but it was enough to paint a llama face!  I was hooked!  Countless Youtube videos later (and boy, there are a lot of talented folks out there sharing their skills), by 2022, I decided it was time to do things on my own.  I retired and turned my home office into my studio to focus on this new passion. 

Then I borrowed this great book from the library called Daily Painting!  Such an inspiring book, I tell all my painterly friends about it.  And of course, that is how I found this landing spot.  And since, have found so many artists who's work I love and admire and this continues to give me inspiration.

I live in Nova Scotia and acrylic paint is my medium and I work from photographs.  I like to vary the subject matter but for fun, love coming back to sneakers (yes, really)!
