​​​​​​​     I have been creative my whole life.  After receiving foundational art courses, I spent many years practicing and developing my skills.

     I am drawn to still life and animal portraiture and paint and draw in a representational manner which might include some impressionism and abstraction.   My goal is to evoke excitement with color, shape, texture, and value no matter the subject.  I like what Matisse said, " Art takes courage ".  

     Art speaks for itself and to be creative is a positive  endeavor.
