CB Hume is a native of Louisiana, born in Washington Parish, raised in New Orleans and now a resident of Tangipahoa Parish. He and his family  reside in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. CB is a self-educated artist with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and a willingness to share what he has learned with others. He is available to instruct workshops and to demo different styles and mediums.

What was once a hobby has become a full blown passion, since pursuing art everything seemed to change and his world was filled with exciting shapes, shadows and light as well as new found peace and purpose in his life. 

He can be seen quite often standing on a street corner painting “ En Pleine Aire” (Outdoors) with his French Easel, capturing  the local landscapes and architecture in The Historic Districts of Tangipohoa,St Tammany and New Orleans parishes.
