I began my love affair with the drawing of portraits and figures by copying the faces of pop star personalities from magazines as a teenager. When I graduated from college, my BA degree in Fine Art focused on life drawing in graphite. It was not until 2009 that I added color to my world. Looking to fast-track my knowledge of color and paint, I nested under the wings of over 18 artist high-fliers in Oregon, California, and at the Scottsdale Artists' School in Arizona. I can currently be found working out of my small studio space in southern Oregon.
 

Although my first love is portrait painting, in my gallery you will see many different painting styles and subject matter. Every time a painting comes off the easel, you can be assured it comes to you from many hours of study and experimentation.
