I started painting in High School and won a few awards.  In college (NC), I continued studying art and pottery but majored in math, which started a career in programming and systems analysis.   With 3 wonderful children, husband, and a full time job, I painted large watercolors when time allowed.   In early 2013, I switched to oils and started painting with some local artists.  In 2013 I went to France and painted with Dreama Tolle Perry which influenced my love of color.  I have taken oil workshops with Kim English, Daniel Keys, Qiang Huang, Marjorie Hicks, Scott Burdick, Susan Lyons, Gerrald Brommer. 

I am a member of daily paintworks and paint mostly in oils now. 

I love the creative aspect whether it is painting oils, watercolor, collage, pottery or many other interests.
