Art has always been a focal part of Donald Curran's life. His drive to draw and paint always pushed him to pursue a career in art.
After graduating from high school, he studied at the Kansas City Art Institute. In 1975 he began a career as a freelance illustrator. He is best known for designing and illustrating high-end collectable steins for Anheuser-Busch, Inc. After twenty years of working for hundreds of major national and international companies, he decided to devote himself to his first love of fine art painting.
Donald's work has been exhibited in numerous museums, galleries and exhibitions. His paintings can be found in collections throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.
Donald was commissioned to do three paintings for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah.
