My paintings celebrate the connection between what is on the surface and what lies below. The present -- what you see now -- and the past -- what was seen.
What is clearly visible today will fade. What we believe today will change. My paintings simultaneously capture a moment in time and moments in the past. I am intrigued by the contrast of hard angular structures and soft atmospheric environments.
I studied art and architecture at the University of California Berkeley, where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Architecture.
