Wide-open rural landscapes and bright skies inspire my work.My paintings feature colorful farms, barns, animals, and old farmhouses, created in my own style, with a fun and unique twist. These are my interpretations of a modern Americana.I received my MFA from the University of Michigan, and a BFA from Illinois Wesleyan University, with an emphasis in drawing, painting and printmaking. I live and work in Texas with my husband Scott-- and our furry friend Nora, a Papillon-mix.

Artists are able to interpret their surroundings and ideas into something new and unique, touching others in the process. A piece may not speak to everyone, but there will be someone out there who is moved and inspired and that is the magic.
