Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jennifer began her love of the outdoors at a young age - camping and hiking every summer around Mount Rainier, the Olympic Peninsula, and the Oregon Coast while bird watching and drawing and painting animals at every opportunity. After briefly following her love of animals (and science and math) into college, she re-kindled her love of art. She earned a B.F.A. in painting at the University of Washington under the direction of Eugene Pizzuto. While she later drifted away from art in her adult years, she finally returned to painting and eventually decided to pursue an art career full-time in 2006. Jennifer now lives and works in Corvallis, Oregon, with her husband of over 25 years. She enjoys painting, hiking, following the activities and concerts of her two children, and playing with her two cats and dog. 

Although Jennifer focuses most of her work on mixed media, fiber, and installation, she still thoroughly enjoys painting and has taken a specific interest in reversed glass art. As of 2025, her paintings will be exclusively available on DailyPaintWorks.
