After earning an expensive BFA from the University of Colorado, I meandered my way through a mundane life imitating everyone else's art until I moved to Alaska and discovered the joy of painting animals. After 22 adventuresome years in the Last Frontier, I traded in the mountains of Alaska for the hills they like to call mountains in the middle of Arizona. Since the dog population rivals the human population in Prescott, I found a niche painting animal portraits. It's a good fit for me.
