I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and moved to Alaska with my family when i was  7 years old. I've spent my childhood and the majority of my adult life here in Alaska, raising a family and creating art.

My art career started as a guilty pleasure with a few elective art classes at UAA, and University of Idaho. It didn’t take long and it became my focus as a career path. Painting in different mediums over the past 28 years, I started on my mother’s hand thrown pottery, then watercolors, acrylics and oil paintings.  I love to  express what’s on my mind and heart with juicy colors full of sunlight.

Painting neon, vintage cars and city life speaks to my early childhood memories in Las Vegas. Painting nature and animals is my love of Alaska shining through.

I strive to capture light, amplify colors and convey an emotion with my paintings. I paint the world I see or the world I’d love to walk into and be a part of. I love creating an image that speaks a story and I hope that people experiencing my paintings are uplifted in some way.

Painting, or being out in nature with friends and family, is when I feel most calm and relaxed. It’s my happy place, my meditation, and the way I charge my battery.
