"The work of the artist is to give birth to joy." These are the words of the writer Konstantin Paustovsky.
Sorry for mistakes. I do not speak English. I am using a translator.
I am a self-taught artist, like many artists.
Now I live on the island of Phkuet, in Thailand.
As a child, my family lived in many countries, Ukraine, Tajikistan (1984-1989 and the war had already begun in 1989), Georgia (there was a war all the time, shooting in the streets 1989-1991), in Russia from 1991- 1993 settled in Siberia, where the climate is very harsh. Now Thailand! I gave birth and raised a talented daughter Maria in the city of Novosibirsk. She is a ballerina and singer, a very creative person, she is 20 years old. I have been doing ballet for a long time, so I have a lot of ballet painting. My husband Peter Lushnikov is my family. 18 years of career in outdoor advertising: News Outdoor, then Russ Outdoor, then became an interior designer. Covid-19 - people are dying in the world. I realized that now I want to feel every day of my life, because life moves and ends quickly. I mustered up the courage to change my life. Now I'm just an artist and sell my work.
I like to look at the quiet streets of southern cities, noisy metropolitan areas. I have many plans for what to draw: ordinary people, different animals, fruits, landscapes, sunset, seascape - different moments of life, life around the corner inspires me! And I dream of drawing many different objects and I do it! My painting is a palette knife and oil paints with bold strokes. I love liquid acrylic for its unpredictability. I mix paints and never know what will come out. Therefore, there is a lot of abstract painting.
"An artist must love life and prove to us that it is beautiful." Words by the French writer Anatole France.
