Pam Holnback lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado with her husband. They have two grown children. Pam graduated with a degree in Art Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She received a Masters of Arts from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. After 28 years of teaching art, Pam retired in 2008. She now spends her time pursuing her passions of painting, enjoying the western outdoors and traveling. She and her husband are following their dreams of fishing and painting their way around the world.

"I have loved art since I was a small child. My parents saw this love and enrolled me in art classes in kindergarten. I have been creating ever since. I shared this feeling with children through decades as an art teacher. It is my hope that the viewers of my paintings feel my joy and share a bit of my life. My oil paintings reflect my passions and surroundings: my home and garden, my love of the out-of-doors, and my travels. My camera and plein air backpack are my constant companions. Many of my small daily plein air studies become larger landscapes upon returning to my studio. Many of the treasures that I have purchased or inherited find their way into my still lifes. I aspire to create paintings that share myself, and are full of joy, light and color."
