Thank you for your interest in commissioning me to create a portrait of your pet. All types of pets are welcome!

In order to create a beautiful image I will need clear, focused, and well lit images of your pet. These images must be copyright free and not from a professional photographer (unless you can provide a written authorization from the photographer allowing the use of their image for the artwork).

If the final image will be created from a composition of photographs, a pencil line work will be provided to you to confirm that the composition is acceptable. An industry standard 50% deposit is required before starting the final art. The remaining 50% is due upon completion and then it will be shipped to you.

The commission does not include a picture frame but the pricing does include shipping to anywhere in North America.  Please let me know if it will need to be shipped to another continent so that I can provide a shipping cost.

Scratchboard artwork is a drawing process and it takes time. You can expect that it will take 4-8 weeks to complete the commission.
