Sharon Kullberg paints to capture light on trees, or the rich colors of a bird or a moth. She did her undergraduate work in rural DeKalb, Illinois, where she learned to love landscapes of undulating cornfields. Sharon became a printmaker at the fabled Inkling Studio in Portland, Oregon and then attended Pratt in Brooklyn, which was wonderfully all buildings & noise.
She has been painting for over 35 years, earned a BA in Art Studio from Northern Illinois University and an MFA in Painting from Pratt Institute and has studied with Andrew Lattimore in Westchester.
