Vera has had a lifelong interest in art, and she started to pursue it actively in 2019. What began as a sudden fascination with tapestry weaving led to watercolor, drawing in dry media and finally oil and pastel painting.  Vera studied with Colorado artist Robin Cole, as well as with the online offerings of New Masters Academy and Marla Baggetta's Pastel Painting class.

Vera currently resides in the mountains of Colorado and loves to visit the American Southwest.

"I'm fascinated by the rhythm of lines and shapes I find in a scene. It is my goal to communicate the movement that I perceive through my paintings."
