As an interior designer for over 30 years, I've had the pleasure of creating beautiful spaces in fine homes in Winston-Salem, N.C. as well as mountain and coastal homes.  Color is an intoxicant to me!  I began painting rather "late in life" and have been able to take that love of color into landscape and floral paintings.  I love how light filters through woods and bounces through a glass vase ~ things I try to capture on canvas.

My paintings are used, in part, as a fund-raiser for  Hyrating Humanity.  This well-digging organization has been heavily sponsored by my church for years.  Their primarly focus is to build water wells at schools and remote areas in East Africa.  They teach hygiene education and present the gospel at the celebration of each well.  To date, over 1,100 wells have been completed.  Every 90 seconds a child dies from a water-related illness.  It's one of the most preventable causes of death; you and I can make a difference!
