When I saw a photo of this simple farm scape I just had to paint it! I loved the nostalgic feeling of the image with its cloudy sky, its clothes line blowing in the wind and linear character of the buildings. I changed a few things from the reference photo to make the composition work, I have entered this painting in a local Art League's group show (my first ever!) and it has sold!
