There is a special online discovery tour on the Rijksmuseum website: Closer to Johannes Vermeer. Unfortunately, the exhibition is definitely sold out and I have NO tickets! Bad luck :(
It is interesting to watch and listen to the online tour and it has inspired me to try to paint the faces of "the Milkmaid" (a few weeks ago) and now "A maid asleep".
Let's just say it's a nice exercise in portrait painting, but what a chore!
