Tollgate Wetlands is a favorite place for me to paint. Fresh air, singing birds and frogs, all sorts of birds and critters coming and going—it's delightful! I chose this path with sun-dappled light and flowering trees next to the water. It was my first time outside painting this year so I did have to put in some studio time to save it from wiping it off.
