This was so fun!! After painting today's pistachios (previous painting), I wanted something quick and loose. I had this extra piece of wood (a weird size 5 1/2" x 6") so thought I'd use it to study popcorn with paint. (I've done it before with graphite.) I'm thinking about doing a larger popcorn painting, and if I could stay this loose it'd probably turn out pretty good.
If I do a larger piece, I'll might name it Popcorn Clouds. Realized that painting clouds is very similar. (blog on this will be published March 28)
