I am fascinated by the beauty and history of the older adobe homes with clay roofs in my neighborhood. They make me think of New Mexico. This one has been lovingly tended, I especially love the arched doorway and door itself. The light and shadow play on the adobe walls and the clay roof tiles all day. The perspective of the home is wonky in real life and even more so in my painting. I am fascinated by the beauty and history of the older adobe homes with clay roofs in my neighborhood.
