When I lived in Boulder I often ran and hiked Enchanted Mesa Trail above my house. The view on cold, winter mornings of the steam coming from the power plant always enchanted me. This is one of my favorite paintings. I think it shows that something we may not normally regard as beautiful, can be amazing and visually compelling.
