I hadn't been able to paint in over 3 weeks, so this was a quick little warm up to (hopefully) get me back in the groove! I did this for a Let's Paint New Mexico challenge, just cropped the photo a bit. Used to have lots of Iris' in Illinois, but none here in my Southwest yard, so it was fun to do!
