Gouache original painting, 8 x 10. Just south of ther Colorado state line, in Northern New Mexico, lies the Rocky Mountain village of Chama, a little village along the banks of the Rio Chama. That's the location of this little piece, on a day in August when the clouds danced across the landscape, plunging it into intermittent patches of shadows and creating great painting opportunities. Done on Canson watercolor paper glued to masonite, it's varnished and ready to be put into a frame like an acrylic or oil painting, without glass.
