Media: pen and ink on mixed media paper
Size: 8x11 in
This summer I've made a huge move from southern AZ to central FL. All my art supplies had to go into storage until I find a permanent home. So I had to order some emergency supplies to keep my hands busy. Mixed media paper and ink pens. I've also been reading about neuro art which involves intuitive lines with rounded intersections. It can be strictly art for enjoyment or it can be used with some additional techniques for healing and therapy. I have found the pieces I've created have been wonderful at keeping my ever present anxiety at bay. These pieces can have color added, however, I love the drama and starkness of the black and white. The mixed media paper I'm using has a bit of a cool gray tint to it. This would look wonderful with a cool white mat and black frame. This summer I've made a huge move from southern AZ to central FL.
