Media: acrylic and mixed media collage

I've always had a fixation for paper of all kinds and loved to make things with paper. Still do, and I have a good sized stash. There were two particular techniques that I really enjoyed prior to this recent collage escapade. The first was paper mosaic, where a picture of an item is cut up and applied, just
like you would piece together a broken dish. The next is called paper painting, where the actual painting is made with pieces of painted papers, as in the above Hollyhocks painting, which was made with papers I painted. The abstract collage is also made from remnants of those same papers.
