If only this kettle could talk, I'd love to hear the stories it would tell. This is my mother-in-laws brass tea kettle handed down from her mother and probably came over with them on a ship from Scotland when then came to America in the late 1800's/early 1900's. At a young age, Betty dropped the kettle and I wanted to paint it as it is now, with the markings of a long and wonderful life.
