For those that follow my art you are probably familiar with my appreciation of 1960s pop culture. This retro painting reflects that feeling. I found the transistor radio depicted in this piece at an antique store in Warrensburg, Missouri a few weeks ago. I researched it online and it appears to be from the late 60s or early 70s. I was curious and put a battery into the radio and was amazed when it actually still worked.
