8 x 6 original oil still life painting of three daffodils in a fluted glass vase against a yellow background. The bright yellow of the flowers is repeated in the more subdued yellow ochre of the background giving a strong color dominance to the composition. The painting is mostly high key (light values) with just a touch of dark in the green stems. I like the cheery color and simplicity of composition- spring is here!
