This is one of the larger paintings that I have recently finished, and it is currently hanging at a solo show. I love moody landscapes and this field is on a route that I travel almost daily here in NW CT. I have always loved the view as it is on a hill, but you don't see the mountains behind it until late fall and winter when the leaves are gone. No matter what time of year, it is always pretty. Best of all, it is town owned and can never be developed. Look closely and you will see some grazing deer on the left. In fairness to the gallery, I have this listed on DPW as On Hold until the show ends on March 16th. If it is still available at that point, the price will be $350.00 plus shipping.
