As a part of this year's Paint Dexter plein air festival, there was an additional competition in commemoration of the Dexter Bicentennial. There were a dozen or so old photos of Dexter, Michigan to paint from, and we were given complete creative freedom to paint them as is or use our imagination to paint them with a twist.
