This old red barn in Keene Valley, NY in the Adirondack Mountains was an icon of this region for many years. I spent some time in the Adirondacks and painted a small plein air painting of this barn. Little did I know that one of the folks passing by taking photos, on that day, was from PBS doing some filming for the Mountain Lake Journal. Some months later, I appeared on the show painting this Adirondack Icon. It is no longer there but it has been captured in photos and in this painting.
