Today I painted these peonies with Cad Red deep,alizarin crimson. Cad
orange and rose permanent in the light,and Ultra Marine Blue in the
shadow. I think yesterday's color was closer to the true flower color.
Today I saw the ultramarine so clearly in the shadow. I made an image of
the two next to each other on my blog.
