This is a painting of the Art Institute of Chicago. When I was a student at the American Academy of Art-Chgo, back in the early 70's, we used to sit on these stairs and eat our lunch or just hang out. Recently i found out that they just closed the American Academy of Art after 101 years serving art students. It is sad for so many of us. Remembering happy times.
