Design is one of my favorite aspects of a painting -I love to search landscapes/ neighborhoods for chunks of compositional elements with design potential - For this painting I was drawn to the shadows that appear around 330 pm, along with the shape and color of the house and the angle of the car parked out front. I decided to keep my palette basic as a way to bring out the design. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)
