I’ve admired and painted this pair of aspens located right off a trail in Meyers Ranch several times. Each time I hike by them I stop to take a photo or a quick sketch, they always catch my eye. It’s something to do with their pose, their obvious bond and the way the filtered sunlight happens to find them sitting in their together, so contentedly.
