Media: Watercolor on acid free rag paper
This work was done from life, not a photo. The challenge was to catch all the detail, even as the leaves in particular, were shifting as they dried. Done directly on the paper, without drawing first, I was able to capture the subject as it changed before me. The grapes themselves were mesmerizing as they were such perfect globes, while the leaves presented no end of texture. Loved doing this one. This work was done from life, not a photo.
