This diminutive ancient horse figurine has been on our mantle forever. I have walked by it so many times and never even thought to paint it. Then, one day, my greedy little hands snatched it and here it is in oil paint. It is an authentic Chinese sculpture. You know how I know it's authentic? Because, on the bottom there is an ancient inscription that says "Made in China." The words are located between the two phillips head screws that attach the horse to the base. Phillips head screws must have been an ancient Chinese invention.
