"Mandala I" is painted on deep gallery wrap canvas so no need to frame.The raised pattern is semi- translucent allowing the bright colours to show through. What you don't see in the image is the lovely textured border with cobalt blue shining through the ultramarine texture. It gives a powerful effect. Also, what looks like brown here is the iridescent bronze which glows softly in room light.Colours are Ultramarine, Teal, Yellow, Bronze, Red, Purple., Periwinkle and translucent white.
