From a trip to Maine. This was just a quick sketch featuring the little white boat moored outside this cabin, and it's not finished with much detail. But, the thing I realized was that adding anything else wouldn't actually add more to the story that was already on my canvas. I rely on letting the viewer fill in the pieces and let the painting tell their story. I have very fond memories of being there and doing this plein air piece. From a trip to Maine.
