A bit more fanciful in this case, the sky was extremely red in Hood River on this morning near the fruit orchards. Experimenting more with palette knife-only painting, I liked the buttery texture I managed to coax out of the paint. I had painted a similar piece a few years ago from and returned to this composition for this one.
