In Egypt, my favorite part is the period before sunset. Unfortunately, it lasts only 15-20 minutes because the sun sets very quickly there. I still vividly recall the sensation when the scorching sand gradually yields to the evening coolness beneath my feet. The beach slowly empties, and the grayness of the night sky gently squeezes out the last brilliant streak of red light on the horizon. The sounds of the evening prayer from the mosque blend with the melody of the waves, as they rhythmically lap against the shore. And so, yet another day comes to a close...
