It was a warm August evening. My wife and I decided to spend a week in Lviv. She worked from home, and I wandered around the city in search of landscapes. When I saw this view of the cathedral, I knew I had to paint it. This painting still reminds me of carefree summer days, peaceful evenings that our life was filled with before the war. We enjoyed them, but we truly began to appreciate them only now.
